The cuisine of Ferrara is a happy combination of noble and popular culinary traditions. Cappellacci, salama da sugo, and Ferrara bread are never missing from the tables of old taverns, trattorias and refined restaurants that share the discreet charm of bygone times. The most renowned products of tradition or those awarded the European IGP, DOP and DOC marks are also known as 'The 17 pearls of Ferrara'.
Garlic of Voghiera
Production area: Clay and silty soils of the plain around Voghiera.
